When did i first start saying “thug life.” Well a friend of mine brought it up pretty recently. And just like the movie, Pineapple Express, my friend said it right before attempting to do something with obvious consequences. Its abruptness and punchy attitude caught our attentions and we just began to use it more and more frequently. It grew from just a reference to the movie Pineapple Express, to an empowering movement developed to enrich the lives of its users.
The Philosphy of Thug Life: “Thug Life” represents an indifference to consequence. A no regrets, act on instinct take on performing an action. Too scared to try and make a jump? F it. Thug life. Not sure if the audience is going to laugh at your joke? F it. Thug Life.
Thug life also helps to brush off defeats. Couldn’t get into a class? F it. Thug life. Move onto the next task at hand. You get beat up? F it. Thug life. Crying solves nothing.
To sum it up. Nothing bothers or intimidates a thug. Thug life is to live like a thug.
